The essential difference between pipe elbow and pipe bend is the difference between "elbow" and "bend". In addition, there are also great differences in the manufacturing process.

Pipe elbow is a kind of pipe fitting commonly used in pipe installation. It is used to connect pipe bends and change the direction of pipe. It is used to connect two pipes with the same or different nominal diameter to make the pipeline turn 90 °, 45 °, 180 ° and various degrees.

The difference between pipe elbow and pipe bend in manufacturing process:

  1. The pipe elbow is shorter than the pipe bend. The elbow with r = 1-2 times is elbow, and the larger multiple is called pipe bend.

  2. The cold pipe bend can be bent with the ready-made straight pipe bending machine, and the secondary anti-corrosion is not needed when the pipe is completed at one time. However, the pipe elbow should be customized by the manufacturer, anticorrosion and long order cycle.

  3. The price of the pipe elbow is higher than that of the pipe bend, but the cost performance is much higher than that of the pipe bend. The pipe bend without anti-corrosion treatment is easy to be damaged, but it is widely used in some projects with low requirements because of its low price. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the performance and price of elbow.
